21/05/2020   Important letter to parents for EYFS, Year 1 and Year 6 children.

Early Years, Year One and Year Six parents
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you for completing the recent survey on returning to school. The survey is now closed, and pupil numbers have been organised into potential teaching groups. Currently, we cannot plan for any more pupils into school as we don’t have the capacity so please don’t ask us at a later date.
We expect to open school for Early Years, Year One and Year Six pupils - some time in June - but this will depend on us making our site as safe as we can to cater for the increased number of children and adults returning to school.
The earliest date we could possibly open for more pupil numbers would be Monday 8th June, but this isn’t guaranteed; we will let you know a definite date once the site work is nearing completion.
Any plans that we are making will be dependent on the government announcement due to be made on 28th Mayand, therefore, subject to change.
It is important that you understand:
If your child does return to school some time next term, we will be encouraging all pupils to take safety measures. However, we cannot guarantee complete social distancing due to our pupils’ age and understanding of this strange situation that we are currently living in.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs. H. Wheatley M.A.
