Welcome to Bishop King Church of England Primary School.

We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England school located in the heart of Lincoln, with a strong sense of community and a clear Christian vision:

This vision underpins everything we do, inspiring our children to aim high, care deeply, and live with purpose.

Our school serves a wonderfully diverse community, with around 450 children on roll, including a thriving Nursery class. We are proud to be an inclusive school where children from many different nationalities and backgrounds learn and grow together.

At Bishop King, we have two classes in each year group from Reception to Year 6, as well as a Nursery welcoming children from the age of three. We are a positive and committed team, working together to help every child reach their full potential—academically, socially, and spiritually.

We set high expectations for behaviour and learning, and we believe in nurturing the whole child. Alongside a strong academic curriculum, we offer rich opportunities in art, music, sport, and wider enrichment activities, both during and outside the school day.

We value the strong partnerships we build with parents and carers and believe that working closely together makes the greatest difference to a child’s success and happiness at school.
